MRK Institute of Technology, fondly known as MRKIT is a premier engineering institution, established in 2009, dedicated to deliver a top-notch technical education while championing rural empowerment.

Nestled on a serene 12.5-acre campus adorned with lush greenery, modern architecture, and tranquil backwaters of the Vadavaru River in Kattumannarkoil, Cuddalore District, Tamil Nadu, MRKIT serves as a Sanctum for academic excellence and personal growth. Guided by visionary leadership of the Chairman – Mr. P. Kathiravan, the institution nurtures tomorrow's innovators.

The Institution was started with 4 UG Programmes and the student strength of 163. During the course of its 16 years of resilient academic journey, the Institution has reached several Milestones. One crowning moment is that the Institution was accredited with ‘A+’ by NAAC in the very first cycle, affirms its commitment to quality education and continuous improvement.

Today, MRKIT offers a vibrant array of programs: nine undergraduate courses, two postgraduate courses, and one Ph.D. programme. State-of-the-art facilities abound, including advanced computing resources, extensive library, Innovation and Incubation Centre (IIC), Research and Development Cells (R&D), dynamic sports and cultural clubs, NSS, NCC, YRC, RRC forums, and Green initiatives—all fostering holistic development.
